Common questions from practices.

Is RVU Tracker HIPAA-compliant?

RVU Tracker is built with a HIPAA-aligned security posture: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logs, and no third-party data sharing. We provide BAAs for practices on the team plan. We treat productivity data as PHI-adjacent even when it doesn't include names or identifiers.

Does this connect to our EHR?

EHR integrations are on the roadmap, and we're actively partnering with private practices to shape them - email us. Today, encounters can flow in via mobile/web entry, CSV import from billing or EHR exports.

How do providers actually log encounters?

Most providers log codes on their phone between patients — three taps and they're done. Practices that prefer batch entry can upload a daily CSV from their billing system, and we handle the deduplication and modifier resolution. Both flows roll up to the same dashboards.

Can I see how each provider compares to specialty benchmarks?

Yes. Every provider's wRVU totals are automatically compared against MGMA-style specialty medians, 25th, and 75th percentiles. You can view comparisons on the per-provider page or in the practice rollup.

What does the comp model engine support?

Configure per-provider conversion factors, base salaries, wRVU floors, multi-tier bonus thresholds, and ceilings. Forecasts update live as encounters land. Run scenarios for "what if we raised the threshold" or "what if we added a 4th day of clinic" without touching a spreadsheet.

How is access controlled?

Three roles: provider (sees their own data), administrator (sees the practice), and owner (sees the practice plus billing and access logs). SSO available via Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Every record view and export is logged for audit.

What does pricing look like for a practice?

Practice pricing is per provider per month with volume discounts above 10 providers. We typically run a 30-day pilot with 2–3 providers before rolling out practice-wide. Reach out and we'll send a quote sized to your group.

How long does onboarding take?

Most practices are live in under a week. We import your provider roster, configure comp models, and run a single training session. After that, providers log encounters on their phone and admins review the dashboard.
